CNN reports that Italian architect Leonardo Fabbretti met with the company last week to see whether it could help gain access to his dead son’s iPhone. Before his death from bone cancer, 13-year-old Dama Fabbretti had added his father’s thumbprint to allow him access – but the phone required the passcode after a restart, and his father doesn’t know the code....

County officials have taken the affected systems offline and cut network connections but most county building are now closed to the public. Emergency services are still available and 911 is still operating, but a Sheriff’s Office customer service window was closed....

HBO just revealed the first footage for the upcoming Deadwood revival movie. In the works for years now, creator David Milch has been teasing a return to Deadwood, South Dakota for longer than the series lasted. Directed by Daniel Minahan, the Deadwood movie will find the indelible characters of the series reunite after 10 years to celebrate South Dakota’s statehood.
