Chrome OS is a Linux kernel-based operating system developed by Google. CSS3 introduces a very useful property called box-sizing. The box-sizing property is used to alter the default CSS box model. The box model is used to calculate the widths and heights of elements. For browsers that adhere to the CSS box model, the width and height of an element are calculated by adding the width/height + padding + border. So for example, if an element has its width property set to 500px, left and right padding of 10px and left and right border of 15px, then the actual rendered width of this element is 500 + 10 + 10 + 15 + 15 = 550px....

Figures released today by Gartner show that the iPad remained the best-selling tablet of 2013, selling more than the combined sales of the four runners-up. Pandora has been reevaluating its strategy as it faces increased competition from streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music, launching its own streaming service earlier this year. Now, a report from Bloomberg claims that as the company continues to invest in streaming, it is looking to offload its Ticketfly business… Pandora acquired Ticketfly two years ago for $335 million with the goal of increasing ticket sales thanks to the listener data it collects from users....

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Apple’s iAds system seems off to a slow start, with ad agencies having problems dealing with Apple’s notoriously over-controlling nature.Apple’s need to learn how to work like ad agencies work has caused some planned ad campaigns to suffer huge delays — not precisely what clients booking $60 million value of advertising might expect. Apple named 17 launch partners for iAd — but of these just Unilever and Nissan have had iAd campaigns in July....

Following a number of amateur aerial shots of Apple’s Campus 2 construction popping up on Instagram and elsewhere online, today the City of Cupertino shared our best yet look at progress on the site with an aerial shot of the entire campus. The shot doesn’t just show the main circular “spaceship” structure, but also work starting on the the entire surrounding campus. The City of Cupertino shares regular updates on traffic conditions related to the project on its website, but today it added the shot above showing construction progress on Campus 2....

A new report today, from two reliable sources, suggests that the anticipated ‘reverse charging’ feature – allowing an iPhone to charge AirPods – has now been abandoned by Apple, at least for this year’s models. If true, this will add to the embarrassment of Apple’s track-record on wireless charging… First, there was the fact that it took Apple far longer than Android smartphones to offer wireless charging at all. Indeed, the company took so long to do it that there was speculation it was waiting to jump straight to long-range charging....
