Disney’s Sequel Trilogy has tarnished Darth Vader’s redemption, but there’s still time for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to put things right. Directed by J.J. Abrams, who has also co-written the script alongside Chris Terrio, Star Wars 9 will end the Skywalker Saga, but it needs to fix Anakin in order to do that. Darth Vader was introduced to viewers as the villain of Star Wars, before undergoing a major transformation by the end of the Original Trilogy, and then his journey continued in the Prequels, with Hayden Christensen stepping into the role....

Kevin Feige and co. have yet to outline exactly how Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool is going to be integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe now that Disney has acquired the rights to the character, but the general consensus is that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Reynolds’ R-rated take on the character is working spectacularly, and audiences really respond to his solo outings, so the Mouse House will likely keep making them, despite the fact that Deadpool doesn’t adhere to their family-friendly brand....

Wrestling legend Chris Jericho defeats “Hangman” Adam Page at AEW’s All Out pay-per-view to become the company’s first ever world champion. While he had been wrestling for years prior in places like Mexico, Japan, and his native Canada, Jericho first began to gain acclaim stateside via his short ECW run, which then saw him get snapped up by WCW during the Monday Night Wars era. In WCW, Jericho really started to perfect the cuttingly sarcastic, endlessly egotistical heel character he would eventually bring with him to the then-WWF, famously debuting on Raw in a promo battle with The Rock....

While promoting his new film The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, Chris Pratt brought some Parks and Recreation nostalgia by covering “Everything is Awesome” as his Parks character, Andy Dwyer. With just a couple of days to go before the release of The LEGO Movie 2, the cast is hard at work promoting the film and having fun while doing it. The LEGO Movie sequel brings back Pratt as Emmet Brickowski, Elizabeth Banks as Lucy, Will Arnett as Bruce Wayne/Batman, and more, as well as a new catchy song titled, well, “Catchy Song”, which will try to outdo the first film’s catchy tune “Everything Is Awesome”....

As Apple continues to plan an increasingly big role in the enterprise market, Cisco today announced a new Security Connector app for iOS. Apple and Cisco originally forged a partnership back in 2015 with the goal of creating a “fast lane” for enterprise customers… The new Cisco Security Connector app for iOS aims to give enterprise users more control over the devices in use in their organization. Cisco explains that the app helps ensure compliance during incident investigations, adds a layer of protection for organizational devices, and more....

Cloak And Dagger might have ended with its second season, but at least some of the characters got to have another adventure in season three of Runaways. The series was Freeform’s first foray into the Marvel superhero franchise, and audiences certainly loved the characters that made the series both emotional and entertaining. Since Cloak And Dagger leans a little more into the magic and myth of the natural world with its exploration of themes in voodoo, the characters would likely find the magic of Harry Potter’sHogwarts fascinating....

Marvel Television head Jeph Loeb brought Cloak and Dagger season 2 to WonderCon 2019, just a few days ahead of the new season’s premiere on Freeform. Kicking things off with a two-hour season premiere, Cloak and Dagger season 2 starts out eight months after the season 1 finale and sees Tandy and Tyrone take on a set of entirely new challenges.
